dc.description.abstractconstructions of reality. Any consultant who has been brought in to solve this conflict will observe this conflict with the goal of softening the different constructions of reality that have reached a deadlock, and of identifying the blind spots. Consultants are capable of accomplishing this because their perspective as onlookers enables them to draw on a set of different distinctions. However, consultants are not exempt from having blind spots of their own, which in turn can only be noticed by other observers. This article applies to the observational logic of systems theory to a particular case by drawing on the combination of two levels of observation by two different advisors. The process of conflict under investigation and the resulting interventions are explained in terms of systems theory, and are interpreted through the interplay of systemic praxis and theory.en
