Although this paper will briefly cover the basic physics of the process, it will not dwell on it. It will rather show how the industrial acceptance of High Speed Metal Forming is tightly connected to the knowledge acquired from many applications studies. These studies determined the main characteristics of the process and defined the requirements for reliable Forming Equipment. This paper will show where the process is most effectively used by presenting real industrial product applications and industrial forming equipment.enelectromagnetic metal forming (EMF)formingmetal620670A Historical Review of High Speed Metal FormingText
