The compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, electrospray mass spectrometry, 1H, 13C, 19F, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy, and in the case of compounds 1, 3 and 4, by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The reaction of compound 2 with fluoride anions in water was investigated by NMR spectroscopy.
