Remarks on pseudo stable laws on contractible groups

Abstract

In this note we discuss a class of probability distributions on homogeneous groups, called pseudo stable laws which were investigated in [5] for the real line. In particular it is shown that under mild assumptions these distributions belong to the domain of normal attraction of stable laws.
