Analysis of a case-control study concerning bladder cancer and occupational exposures

Abstract

This work presents the results from a case-control study about occupational exposures as risk factors for bladder cancer. Odds ratio analysis and logistic regression give results, which show the influence of different exposures to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and an exposure to paints on bladder cancer etiology. Further an outlook on the upcoming studes about genetic predispositions as additional risk factors is given.
