Title: Homogenisierungsansätze für elasto-plastische Festkörper auf Basis inkrementeller Variationsprinzipien
In this treatise, a novel hybrid homogenization strategy for elasto-plastic solids at finite strains is proposed. First, a variational consistent algorithm is introduced. This algorithm computes all state variables for models at finite plasticity by minimizing the incremental stress power. The frame of the algorithm is so general that it is applicable for a broad range of constitutive models. An adapted algorithm for fully isotropic material models is also developed. This algorithm is extremely efficient and in many cases it is even more efficient than the corresponding return-mapping algorithm. By numerical examples it is shown that the novel variational consistent algorithm has a comparable precision as the by now classical return-mapping algorithm. Based on the aforementioned variationally consistent algorithm, a novel hybrid homogenization strategy is presented. This strategy relies on the principle of energy equivalence for the scale coupling. As classical FE2 methods for scale transformation are numerically very extensive, an efficient approximation is proposed. By this procedure the effective macroscopic material parameters can be computed very efficiently. Several examples demonstrate the potential of the novel homogenization strategy.
