Title: High Speed Forming 2016 - Proceedings of the 7th International Conference
Language (ISO): en
Abstract: The “International Conference on High Speed Forming” has developed into a major event for impulse forming, its processes, and its applications. Since the first ICHSF in Dortmund in 2004, the latest developments in the analysis of high speed forming and joining processes, tools and machines as well as material characterization have been introduced at the biannual conferences with growing interest and impact. I am especially proud to recognize that the last ICHSF 2014 in Daejeon/Korea has strengthened the ties between the European, American, and Asian impulse forming communities. The objectives of the 7th ICHSF are to offer a platform for innovative presentations from international universities, research institutes, and companies and to support discussions and the informal exchange of experiences and knowledge between scientists, practicing engineers, manufacturers, and industrial operators.
