Abstract

In Japan's mathematics education, the Curriculum Guidelines Explanation states, ``Solving problems discovered from everyday events.'' However, in classes using actual textbooks, the emphasis is on students solving the problems they are given, and children rarely find problems in their daily lives and solve them. In this study, to help understand the globalized world, we will turn European mathematics-related cultures and materials into teaching materials, and explore how to develop STEM human resources while understanding each other's cultures.
