Methodische Grundlagen des DFG Projekts "Wohnstandortwahl, Raum und Verkehr im Kontext von Lebensstil und Lebenslage"

Abstract

Das durch die DFG geförderte Forschungsprojekt "Wohnstandortwahl, Raum und Verkehr im Kontext von Lebensstil und Lebenslage" ist der empirischen Analyse der komplexen Zusammenhänge zwischen Lebenslage, Lebensstil, Wohnstandortpräferenzen, Wohnstandortwahl und Verkehrsnachfrage gewidmet. Die Analysen basieren insbesondere auf linearen Strukturgleichungsmodellen. Das Arbeitspapier präsentiert und diskutiert methodische Grundlagen der Datenerhebung, Datenaufbereitung und Datenanalyse.The research project ' Choice of residential location, the built environment and transport in the context of lifestyle and life situation', which is funded by the German Research Foundation DFG, is devoted to the empirical analysis of the complex interrelations between life situations, lifestyles, location attitudes, residential location choice, and travel behaviour. The analyses are based on linear structural equation modelling. The paper presents and discusses methodological considerations on the data survey, data processing and data analysis.
