Pädagogische Lai_innen im Ganztag

Abstract

Im schulischen Ganztag ist pädagogisch nicht qualifiziertes Personal, so genannte Pädagogische Lai_innen, tätig. Das Spektrum dieser Personalkategorie reicht von sich in Qualifizierung befindlichen Studierenden über für den Ganztag spezifisch Weitergebildete (ohne pädagogische Berufsausbildung und/oder Studium) bis hin zu Personal, das keinerlei Zertifikate vorweisen kann. Das Argument, dass diese Personalkategorie Alltagsbildung in den Ganztag bringt (beispielsweise die Tischlerin, die eine AG zum Möbelbau anbietet) ist empirisch nicht haltbar.Non-qualified pedagogical staff—so-called lay-pedagogues—are active in all-day schooling. The spectrum of this personnel category ranges from students, to those specifically trained for the all-day school (without pedagogical vocational training and/or studies), to personnel who do not have any certificates. The argument that this category of personnel brings daily life education into the all-day program (for example, the carpenter who offers a workshop on furniture making) is not empirically valid.
